Charmed and Dangerous By: Lisi Harrison

Yeah!!! Yet another book has been published by Lisi Harrison! Not only that but she has hit it out of the park yet again. Currently one of my favorite authors I count down the days until another fabulous book is published. Although she has already published sixteen other books on the rise of the Pretty Commitee. She has decided to back track and explain to us about how these fabulous friends united. I for one am thrilled that she has continued with her series and has continued on with yet another different series entitled the Alphas. I will not include too much information about her latest read but if you like Lisi Harrison you will love Charmed and Dangerous! That's all for now and enjoy finding out how one small gold charm bracelet can lead to so much!

Sister of the Bride By: Beverly Cleary

Three hundred and twelve pages and many more hours later I have finished book two! Although a one hour nap in hour nine and a three hour nap in hour seventeen was necessary I have made it. Beverly Cleary has been one of my favorite authors for a very long time many of her books have become to short in length for my reading level. However, after stumbling upon it at a recent local book sale at the library I knew I had found a good one. This particular find is about young Barbara who's older sister who is only two years older than her at eighteen is engaged. Although Barbara is excited for Rosemary she soon get pushed back along with her brother as everyone's attention is turned toward the wedding, bride, and groom. When she needs her sister for advice she is either too busy with mid terms or the wedding. Missing her more and more each day Barbara finds herself lonely and looking for a friend. While reading this particular book I was puzzled with some wording and pricing of items. After answering my mother's advice and reading the copyright all was understood. Sister of the Bride was published in 1963. As I do with all the other books that I have read by Beverly Cleary I recommend yet another. A truly lovely read. Well, I believe it is time for me to hit the sack and thank you to all the cheerleaders and bloggers for supporting me in my first read a thon. But most of all I would like to thank my mom for opening the box of reading to me.On to the next book, House of Night Novel #2 Betrayed By P.C. And Kristen Cast! Happy reading!

  10. My advice is that my checking your blog and Dewey's every hour you may be able to lengthen your attention span, for those of you who have a short one as I do.

Thank you so much to all of you who have commented and cheered me on. I hope you come back to visit after the read a thon is said and done.

Who Keeps Me Company Mini - Challenge

I decided I would join the "Who Keeps Me Company" mini challenge; and besides my mother I have many other little friends who always keep me company when reading. I have winter and birthday themed quilts made by my grandmother that keep me warm in the increasingly cold state of Pennsylvania. I also have a Winnie the Pooh Blanket that I was given when i was born and thirteen years later it is still holding on. Though some areas are coping better than others. Last but not least I have my two favorite teddy bears. The pink one Valentina was also made by my grandmother and I have loved it ever since. The brown teddy bear who for some reason still remains nameless (name suggestions will be excepted) has a little battery inside so every time you hug him he thanks you dearly for it and asks for another one. Well, it's back to my book for me. Thank you all for the support and happy reading! P.S. Sorry I could not flip the picture.

Valentine Princess

OMG! I did it the first book completed in my first read a thon. Although it was a short ninety page read it was a very enjoyable one. I think what made me most enjoy it was the fact that is was almost like a debate in a book, As Mai and her friends discuss the commercial that Valentine's Day has brought many of her fellow friends find themselves hating it more and more. But Mia does not want that. She wants to enjoy the fist Valentine's Day with her first real boyfriend and make it a special one. But, when her boyfriend admits that he agrees with the awkwardness that Valentine's Day can sometimes bring, Mia comes to believe that maybe her special day may not work up to all she thought it would be. As I do with all of Meg's other books, I highly recommend it.
